I have recently been involved in drama with two other Soldiers. It started when my roommate accused me of bullying her so she could be moved into a room with her friends. They just took her word for it and my SGT moved her and gave me a new roommate. The new roommate carried a knife. The SGT took the knife from her after her friend threatened to take my life. The SGT took no further action. Everything was just swept under the rug. The new roommate and her friends say things to me throughout the day like, "Six feet under." I have told my SGT that I feel threatened and unsafe, and I was told to brush it off. He tells me that they will find a way to chapter me out of the Army or take my pay if I don't stop complaining about these girls. I feel like I am not being taken seriously because of the false accusations of my first roommate. I have tried to talk to my 1SG, but I have not been allowed to. Awards in my unit are being determined in large part by what rank the awardee holds. For instance, an officer who was only here a short time recently PCSed from our unit and received an MSM; a SSG PCSed and received an ARCOM even though he had been here longer and had done volumes more than the Major. He had the responsibility and performance to warrant an MSM, yet he wasn't the "appropriate" rank so he received an ARCOM. To whom should I address this? Help us out here, Top!.. Read the Answer»

I have a Soldier who is receiving FSA, but I have been told that his family is with him at his TCS location. What are the qualifiers? This Soldier went to finance and got back-pay for the last 9 months, and FSA is reflected on his LES. We were given equipment when our unit was prepared to deploy. No one signed for it. Months later we were brought in to sign for equipment and found hand receipts with our forged signatures on it. Our squad leader (who was in charge of the equipment and who had originally given it to us) held up the hand receipts and said, "this is your name and you signed for it." Later, he tried to force some of us to make false sworn statements about the matter. Now our platoon sergeant is ticked at all of us and wants to "fry" us for lying but we are telling the truth!
