I have refused to get vaccinated for religious reasons. I am being told I will receive a dishonorable discharge. Is this true?

The comprehensive guide to the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)

This response is provided based on the information you shared and should not be used as the sole source for making a decision. You should seek guidance from the chain of command, IG, JAG or other certified agencies before making any decisions. How you chose to use this information is totally up to you and is your sole responsibility.

You will most likely receive a either an honorable or general discharge for failure to vaccinate. It would be incredibly rare for a Soldier to receive an Other Than Honorable, let alone a Dishonorable discharge.

HOPE THIS HELPS

Respectfully,
