Can I be counseled in Jan (verbally) and then receive a counseling in March that is backdated to Jan?

Can you receive a counseling for over weight that's been giving in January but have to still sign it March and the date be changed back to the 29th of january?

Army Counseling Software - Include over 250 Army Counseling Examples

A counseling date cannot be backdated. Meaning the date the written counseling is signed will be the date the 4856 is placed in front of you to sign. For example: say you were counseled on 29 Jan (verbally) and then on 9 March you received the written counseling statement from that event. The counsel could state that on 29 Jan you were counseled for______ and you were informed the following actions would be taken. Then the date on the written counseling would be 9 March. If this is not the case you can line through the date and pen in the correct date. You have the option to disagree with the counseling based on the time that elasped between the verbal counseling and written counseling, you can attach a rebuttal to the counseling.
