I am being audited but cannot find one of my awards. What should I do? What will happen?

I seemed to have lost one of my awards. Is there any way to get a copy of it? What will happen to my points when I am audited?

Soldiers who misplace any documentation should try everything to find it or obtain a copy. First, check your Official Military Personnel File (OMPF). If it’s not there, check with the S1 who issued the certificate. If they do not have it on file, they should check with the local Records Holding Area (RHA), that is, provided the files were actually transferred to the RHA. If you are audited and cannot provide documentation to support your points, the S1 will perform appropriate adjustments to your promotion points.
