It is absolutely illegal and unacceptable. It is theft! If you observed an individual doing this you need to report the incident. If you know the individual who took the fuel or if you can identify them, an investigation will likely reveal evidence of the theft–especially if an electronic or automated fuel key is involved.
Depending on the situation you will to report the incident to either the chain of command (1SG/company CDR) or the MP’s.
