Will my unit find out about a speeding ticket off post?

The Mentor - A Comprehensive Guide to Army Counseling and Leadership

This response is provided based on the information you shared and should not be used as the sole source for making a decision. You should seek guidance from the chain of command, IG, JAG or other certified agencies before making any decisions. How you chose to use this information is totally up to you and is your sole responsibility.

If the ticket was placed on the military blotter than yes more than likely your unit will be notified.

However, I have never heard of an off post ticket being placed on the blotter.

Usually you pay the ticket and that’s the end of it.

If you have a secret clearance you will most likely need to declare that on your security renewal form.
