This manual provides engineer doctrine for operating at the BCT and below and within the framework of full spectrum operations. It describes engineer operations integrated through the warfighting functions in a combined arms application of combat power. It, than other Engineer related FMs, provides in greater detail for commanders and staff at brigade echelons and below, information to ensure synchronization of engineer capabilities throughout operations and across the spectrum of conflict and applied operational themes.
