ADP 4-0 is the Army’s doctrine for sustainment of Army missions. This principle level doctrine focuses on the three elements of sustainment: logistics, personnel services, and health service support. It uses joint terms where applicable. It serves as the doctrinal bridge fostering the understanding of the seamless nature and essential linkages of sustainment capabilities from the strategic base to tactical level operations.
