I served in the Air Force for four years. I am now active duty Army. Because of the change of policy on correspondence courses and now resident courses I read that previous military training can be used as resident courses. The problem I am having is no one in my unit knows how to input this on my ERB for me to get credit. Is there another way for this to happen?
Some resident courses completed in another service branch do count for promotion points provided it is in ATRRS. If it is in ATRRS, it is likely that there is a code for it to be placed on your ERB but in cases where no code exists, your S1 must submit a request through HRC to have the course added and a code generated for it. They will have to submit the ATRRS print-out along with the request.
