Hello friends! In case you haven’t checked out a calendar lately, Summer is charging towards us with reckless abandon. We are all chomping at the bit to get home and relax, but this isn’t just any Friday. As you run off to the lake and fire up the grill this weekend, take a moment to reflect upon the meaning of this holiday.
Memorial Day (originally called Decoration Day) is a time to give thanks to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country and, therefore, our livelihood. So get out there and enjoy the long weekend. Let’s just not forget what it’s all about.
