Will promotion audits still exist under the new system?

I want to make sure I am ready in case I get audited. Will I still get audited and if so, what should I do to prepare myself?

The Board Master - Army Promotion Board Study Guide

Yes, promotion audits will continue under the new system and will be conducted by your unit S1 or post Military Personnel Directorate, depending on who provides personnel support to your unit.  A total of 5% of promotion selections accross the Army will be audited monthly. So if 100 SGTs are selected for promotion to SSG, 5 of those will be audited.

What you should do is ensure you have documents to support each promotion point you have earned to include but not limited to APFT & weapons scorecard, award certificates, civilian transcripts, training certificates, etc. You should also ensure all your documents are on your Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) in case you misplace something. Your unit S1 can submit your documents that are missing on your OMPF.
