Soldier is underweight, is this a problem?

I have a soldier who looks really underweight and I haven't seen a counseling for underweight but I've heard that their are some out there. Can anyone assist me in finding or writing one?

Underweight is a problem that is addressed in AR 600-9. You should read this regulation as it pertains to underweight. Ensure the Soldier sees medical authority and a dietitian as soon as possible.
