The purpose of this Standard Operation Procedure is to outline the requirements for administering the Enlisted Battlefield Promotions Program for units in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). This program applies to enlisted Soldiers (all Army Components) assigned or attached serving in support of the specified campaigns. Enlisted battlefield promotions are limited to promotions to the rank of SSG and below.
