This is one of the few awards that I don’t have, but wish I did. Unfortunately, I never served as an NCO, but if I would have, I can’t think of any higher honor than the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.

Good for you for earning the award, Brian. I bet you were a great NCO.

Hello, I received the SAMC award in 1996. I was in the 213th ASG Allentown PA PANG at the time. Is there a listing of all the recipients? The card and certificate I got along with the medal had the number 148 on it.

    Respectfully,
    Brian E. Nelmes

      Brian,
I reached out to one of our Active Duty Sources and here is the response I received:

There is a roster that each MACOM holds so it depends on who he got the induction through, ie, Forscom, Medcom, Tradoc, or in his case it may actually be National Guard Bureau? He should probably first call the state and see if they have a SAMC representative that could assist in obtaining the information.

      Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply. It was induction through FORSCOM. I will contact the PANGR and see if they have SAMC representative.

        Thanks again.
