This regulation prescribes policy and guidance and assigns responsibilities for the management of Army modeling and simulations (M&S). Specific Army communities enabled by M&S are currently the Acquisition Community, Analysis Community, Experimentation Community, Intelligence Community, Test and Evaluation Community, and Training Community. Specific Army communities enabled by M&S may be added or removed based on the requests of community leaders and as approved by the M&S proponent.
