Purpose: To provide general policy and a framework for the establishment, sustainment, operations, roles and life cycle of Communities of Practice (CoP) in facilitating knowledge sharing across USACE to transition from “Good to Great”. This regulation severs the link between CoPs and the functional responsibilities of offices and the organizational structure of the Corps of Engineers. This regulation supports effective communication, learning, and relationship development within the Corps team.
