EM 385-1-97 hereby supersedes EP 385-1-95a, Basic Safety Concepts and Considerations for Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) Response Action Operations dated 27 August 2004, and EP 385-1-95b, Explosives Safety Submission, dated 28 March 2003. Thereby, pending the next update to this EM, all reference to these documents should be deleted.
