This regulation prescribes authority, objectives, responsibilities, and policies for conducting worldwide ammunition logistics reviews in all matters of ammunition logistics. Ammunition logistics includes all bulk propellants, explosives, pyrotechnics, munitions, and/or missiles involving Class V materiel and related items, excluding surety materiel. Also, it provides commanders of organizations with ammunition and explosives safety missions a source of technical assistance in all facets of ammunition logistics and explosives safety.
