This regulation prescribes policies and responsibilities for developing, maintaining, evaluating and revising the military occupational classification and structure for:
a. Officer branch, functional area/medical functional area, immaterial codes, area of concentration, skill identifier, and reporting classifications.
b. Warrant officer branch, AOC, military occupational specialty, special qualification identifier, and additional skill identifier.
c. Enlisted career management field, MOS, SQI and ASI.
