Purpose: This regulation, in addition to ER 1130-2-500, establishes the policy for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of USACE flood control and related structures at civil works water resource projects and of USACE-built flood protection projects operated and maintained by non-Federal sponsors.

Are there any regs that address recognizing non-Federal Sponsors (i.e. Local Counties) for their outstanding work in maintaining and inspecting Federal or non-Federal flood protection projects that are included in Corps’ Inspection Programs? Are we allowed to do this (non-monetary awards such as plaques/certificates, etc.)
