I would caution you always to remember that an essential qualification of a good leader is the ability to recognize, select, and train junior leaders.
A leader should encourage the members of his staff to speak up if they think the commander is wrong. He should invite constructive criticism.
Furthermore, no leader knows it all (although you sometimes find one who seems to think he does!)
Remember, a good leader is one who causes or inspires others, staff or subordinate commanders to do the job.
