Can my CSM have my orders deleted?

I have recently been put on orders. My CSM has requested that they be deleted. I do not agree with the decision, however he is the BN CSM. Can he do this? How can I stop them from being deleted if I can?

Unfortunately the CSM does have the ability to recommend to the BNCDR that your orders be deleted if you are mission critical to the unit. The request does not necessarily mean your orders will be deleted. If you are on assignment to a higher priority unit the odds of your orders being deleted is small.

You may want to contact your assignment manger at HRC and discuss the issue with them directly as they will be the person that will approve or disapprove the action. You could also go to your local PSB and discuss the issue with the assignment section there. If you choose to do either of these be professional and calm. Do not upset these individuals. You are looking for information, regulations, and likelihood the orders will be deleted.
