TC 21-305-10 Training Program for the Palletized Load System

The Mentor - A Comprehensive Guide to Army Counseling and Leadership

This TC provides a training program for the palletized load system (PLS) operator according to AR 600-55. It provides standardized training and testing in the operation, maintenance, and safety of the PLS. It stresses hands-on training with minimal classroom instruction and does not include any theater-unique requirements. During the development of it, it was assumed that each driver candidate would have a state driver’s license and have extensive experience driving a 5-ton or larger tactical cargo truck. To provide effective training, each instructor should ensure his operators are trained and tested to the standards in it. Any deviation from the successful completion of these basic standards will only lessen the soldiers’ overall driving effectiveness.

NOTE: AR 600-55 Supersedes PAM 611-125
