I’m helping the surviving spouse of a fully retired Army officer who passed away due to service related medical condition-cancer in 1995. VA had rated service member. Spouse was 53 or 54 at time of death and began receiving DIC from VA. On or about 1998 she remarried. Second husband died two weeks ago. Question?? Is she eligible for reinstatement of Dependent ID Card and Tricare For Life coverage (what is the reference). Thanks. Mike McGuire

I am sure you have already found the answer. My apologies for the delayed response. I have this out to our Department of the Army experts. Another option is the local military installation Casualty Assistance Office should have this information
