The purpose of this message is to implement new guidance with regard to the soldier eligibility for Officer Candidate School. There are two ways to be selected for OCS; either by submission of an OCS Packet as prescribed in the specified regulations or through submission of an OCS Packet including the additional requirements to make it a Direct Select Packet. Applicants that meet all eligibility requirements outlined. Also Direct Select Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements outlined.
