The purpose of this SOP is to provide policy, procedures, and guidance, for the efficient, safe operation of the Avionics Platoon, (Air Assault). This SOP applies to all military personnel assigned or attached to the Airborne Division (Air Assault) Avionics platoon. These procedures are applicable to both garrison and field operations.
Objectives:
- To standardize aviation intermediate support maintenance procedures and policies.
- To maintain maximum operational readiness of customer supported equipment.
- Detecting and correcting of potential or actual problems as early as possible.
