FM 10-579 Airdrop of Supplies and Equipment Rigging Landing Field Mat – Historical Copy Superseded by TM 4-48.07 Airdrop of Supplies and Equipment Rigging the Rapid Runway Repair Kit and Military Bridges

This manual tells and shows how to prepare and rig the steel landing field mat and how to rig the rapid runway repair kits for low-velocity airdrop from C-130, C141, C-5 and C-17 aircraft.  It is designed to be used by all parachute riggers.
