This regulation contains procedures for processing and strength accounting of US Army members appointed as cadets or midshipmen at the US Military, Naval, Air Force, or Coast Guard Academies and civilian personnel appointed as cadets at the US Military Academy. It also provides instructions for enlisted personnel appointed to cadet status at USMA for other Services. It also contains instructions on the disposition of personnel records and on the separation of cadet candidates from the US Military Academy Preparatory School. It further describes the admission process of nonactive duty Reserve Component personnel.
