This regulation establishes policies, responsibilities, and procedures for the Exceptional Family Member Program. The EFMP, working in concert with other military and civilian agencies, provides a comprehensive, coordinated, multiagency approach for community support, housing, medical, educational, and personnel services to Families with special needs. Delivery of reimbursable and nonreimbursable services is based on legislative and DOD authority and Army policy.
