Purpose:  This regulation identifies the safety and occupational health documents and procedures required to be developed and implemented by United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) commands and their contractors responsible for executing HTRW response actions, including investigation, design, pilot studies, construction, treatment process operations and maintenance (O&M), and other related activities at HTRW sites. In addition, this regulation defines the systematic execution, review, and approval responsibilities within USACE for the required safety and health documents.
