The pressures of everyday life mean we’re almost constantly subjected to some form of stress. As well as the psychological effects, which can make us anxious, depressed or exhausted, stress can also cause physical problems by suppressing the immune system, slowing the metabolism and taking vital nutrients. It can also cause rapid aging, lead to increased weight and even increase the risk of high blood pressure, digestive problems, heart disease and cancer.  So what can we do to combat stress? That is what this class/briefing will teach Soldiers to do.
