Total Army Training Programs and documentation for Bradley Fight Vehicle System Maintainer

PURPOSE: To train enlisted personnel to perform unit level maintenance on chassis systems and components of Track and Wheel Vehicles.

SCOPE: Train soldiers in the basic knowledge and skills. Receive instruction on the use of publications, special tools, shop safety, principles of electricity and electrical systems, principles of hydraulics, and the principles of engines and power trains.  Receive fundamentals and principles  of engine, fuel, exhaust, cooling, electrical, track, suspension, steering and hydraulic systems.

PREREQUISITES: Active Army, National Guard, or Reserve Component.  Must be reclassifying from a previous MOS. Must have a civilian driver’s license, meet the height and weight standards IAW AR 600-9, and meet the prerequisites for the MOS IAW AR 611-201. Must have completed 091-63B, D, E, G, H, S, T, W, Y Phase 1, unless reclassifying from 63B, D, E, G, H, S, T, W, Y.
