Can I be forced to take the APFT while in the IDES (formally MEB) process?

I'm currently in the IDES (formerly MEB) process, waiting on my percentages. I have a Leader who is intent on making me take an APFT, however, according to my profile I can only take the swim event according to my P3. Can I take a record with only one event? Is this illegal for another doctor to change my profile without seeing me?

I have a unique dilemma I need help with. I just had major knee surgery and my doctor stated I will need 6 to 9 months of recovery before I am fully healed. My doctor gave me a profile on 8 January which expires in April. Now I had another doctor from another clinic from another base change my profile without ever evaluating at all. Can my Chain of Command prevent me from going to the range if I have recently come off of medical profile?

I am coming off of ACL reconstruction surgery. I had a 90 day profile. I am completely off my profile and in the recovery phase. I am no longer on profile. I was told that I could not go to the range today because my profile ended 30 days ago. Is there any regulation that states that when a Soldier is in recovery time they cannot go to the range.
