I just received a permanent profile which prohibits me from taking all events (including alternate) on the APFT. I am currently flagged and barred for a previous APFT failure. Should my flag and bar be lifted due to the new permanent profile. Also I am not sure if this affects the situation but, I am also currently going through the MEB process. Top I really need your expertise. I failed my 1st APFT. Then I passed the 2nd one but leadership then told me it was diagnostic. I took another APFT a week after and passed but Unit Leadership nullified the test because some Soldiers complained they ran extra lap. I then had to take another APFT in which I ended up running in the snow and I failed my run by 16sec. My commander has initiated chapter process but i have not signed any paperwork yet. I have asked to talk to him but I have not gotten a response from my chain of command. What should I do?.. Read the Answer»
I am due to Retire in 10 months and now I am scheduled to take an APFT soon. Do I still have to take the APFT due to the fact that I am Retiring?.. Read the Answer»
When reading 350-1 for APFT it states"Soldiers in RC TPUs will take the APFT once each calendar year. A minimum of 8 months will separate record tests with no more than 14 months between record tests. Soldiers that require makeup testing or re-testing for an APFT failure are exempt from the 8-month rule" Does exempt from the 8 month rule mean you can be ordered to do a record every month? .. A Soldier recently PCS to our unit. She lost her promotable status because she took her APFT test while on profile in her last unit but had permission to do so from her previous chain of command. and doctor. Can she get her promotable status back?.. Read the Answer»
My spouse had a miscarriage at 18 weeks. She is in the National Guard. She has reported the condition to her unit and they want her to take an APFT test in the next 7-10 days. This was documented and sent to the unit. Can they make her take a pt test and weigh her?.. Read the Answer»
