Does prior service training in another service count towards promotion points?

I am a prior service Sailor. How do I find out what Navy training transfers over to the Army for promotion points?

Only courses listed in AR 350-1 and formally listed in ATRRS are authorized promotion points. Granted ATRRS is an Army system, some other service courses are in fact in ATRRS–promotion points are only awarded for listed courses.

Your S1 or Schools NCO should be able to tell you if any of the training you received in another service is listed in ATRRS. But, if you would like to look yourself, you can search the course catalog on ATRRS at the following link. If you find a course listed, present your certificate of completion or DD214 to your S1 so they can add it to your ERB.
