Can I be Forced to Cancel a Scheduled Surgery to Attend ACAP?

I have surgery next week for my knee and they want me to cancel the surgery for ACAP for my chapter. Can they do that?

No, they cannot force you to cancel your surgery.  You could do ACAP while in recovery and on crutches. You should consider discussing this with your legal counsel in the defense counsel’s office. This would be the same attorney you should have seen right after receiving the written notice from the commander that you were being processed for separation.
