My name is on the My MOS is a starmos with 39 point to be promoted to SGT.C-10 roaster for this month and my unit is planning to send me to the board. I will be promoted in the first of next month anyway without going to the board. My question is if I fail that promotion board, will they be able to take me of the CLI list?

I am reclassing from 13F to 68K. I am currently in training to be reclassed. I reenlisted for the new mos in Oct2009. I was told because I reenlisted to the new mos I had to be e4 non promotable as a requirement to attend my new mos training. I started my training Jan2011. I have done very well in school and I am on track to graduated on time Mar2012. Since my time and rank and service I have qualified for the cli list. The promotion points for 1JAN2012 said I would be promoted and the by name list had my name on it. I have researched the Ar 600-8-19 and have found no reason that I caannot be promoted under my old mos of 13F under 1-31 b. Is there any reason I will not be promoted. I have not ever found any regulation saying that I have to be e4 non promotable to attend my voluntary reclassification. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
