Developmental Counseling Class/Briefing

This class/briefing is to teach how to Counsel. Slides include: definition of counseling, leader skills, leader as a counselor, event counseling, performance, professional growth, counseling cycle, counseling process, identifying the need, preparing, conducting, follow up, explanation of the blocks on the DA Form 4856 and how to fill them out. Includes an observer worksheet for discussing how well someone conducts a counseling session. Typically used in peer to peer or instructor to student interaction.
