This is a Word document which explains the actions that a commander must complete when  they receive a test positive for abuse of illegal drugs for a Soldier under his/her command. All of the actions listed in the document must be initiated and/or completed within 30 days of receiving the packet. The Specimen Custody Document – Drug Testing (DD Form 2624) will be included. As required, a Medical Review Officer (MRO) will have already determined the sample to be illegal drug usage. The Specimen Custody Document is the basis for the commander to initiate separation action. A copy of the soldier’s DA Form 2A / ERB will also be attached.  It also includes a Checklist, suggested assembly of separation packet and general timeline for processing separations for drug positive AC/AGR Soldiers.
